Welcome to the WWE News Roundup for November 18. In today's piece, we will look at topics revolving around Becky Lynch and Triple H, among others.
Also, a major star has revealed that he will be retiring from the independent circuit, with his last appearance coming a few days before Royal Rumble 2025. Let's check it and more without any further delay.
#4 Becky Lynch is not done
Becky Lynch recently made her first major public appearance since leaving WWE earlier this year. While The Man is no longer under contract with the global juggernaut, reports have suggested that she will eventually return to the company.
There were some speculations that Lynch had retired from in-ring competition. Nonetheless, she put the rumors to rest at the Vulture Festival, noting that Dominik Mysterio shutting the cage door on her won't be her last pro wrestling memory.
“If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face that’s definitely not gonna happen," said Lynch.
Lynch was also seen sporting a new look at the event. Many expect her to return on RAW's premiere episode on Netflix in January 2025.
#3 WWE CCO Triple H officially crowns a new champion
Monday Night RAW is set to move to Netflix and the company is pulling out all the stops to make the premiere episode one to remember. Triple H recently appeared at a concert, where he met Travis Scott. The Game crowned the music icon as the new Hardcore Champion, adding that Scott will also be present on RAW's debut on Netflix.
Aside from Travis Scott, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, John Cena, and Bianca Belair are also slated to make an appearance on the upcoming show.
#2 Five-time champion announces retirement from independent wrestling bookings
In one of the biggest news of the day, a five-time champion has announced that he is set to retire from the independent circuit. The star in question is Josh Alexander, who noted that he won't be taking independent wrestling bookings anymore.
Alexander's last appearance on the indies will come days before Royal Rumble, which has led to speculations that the TNA star could make an appearance at the upcoming premium live event.
#1 Finn Balor seemingly kicks out three members from The Judgment Day
The last few weeks have made it clear that all is not well within The Judgment Day, with Finn Balor looking frustrated with some of his stablemates. The Prince recently posted a picture of The Judgment Day. However, just JD McDonagh and Carlito were part of it, raising speculations that the former WWE Universal Champion is done with Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez.
The dissension within the group has grown in the last few weeks and many expected Finn Balor to separate from Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. We will get a clearer picture on WWE RAW tonight.
