WWE News: Rumor killer on Alicia Fox's wardrobe malfunction
What's the story?
Alicia Fox is in the news for all the wrong reasons. As revealed by Wrestling Inc, reports of her showing up at a live event intoxicated that led to Arn Anderson's firing have been spreading like wildfire, however, that is not the only concerning news about the superstar that have been doing the rounds.
Various news outlets got hold of a photo that apparently showed Fox having a wardrobe malfunction at last night's Live event at the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax, VA. These reports are indeed false as Fox wasn't even present at the house show and the photo is said to be from an old show.
In case you didn't know...
The eccentric former WWE Divas champion last wrestled at a house show on February 10th. She teamed up with Nikki Cross and Mickie James in a match against the team of Dana Brooke, Bayley and Natalya.
Fox and her heel teammates ended up on the losing side and she hasn't worked any event since then. This could be WWE's way of possibly punishing the star for coming to a live event drunk as Fox was not even backstage for last week's Raw.
The heart of the matter
Multiple websites released a photo of Fox in a revealing position as she was about to get Suplexed to the mat by Bayley. Some of the sites claimed that she had faced Bayley and Sasha Banks in a match at the live event held in Fairfax, VA.
However, the Women's Tag Team Champions actually had a match against Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. The photo that has surfaced on the internet is from an earlier show where she took on Bayley during the Holiday Tour last year. As of this writing, the articles from most websites that reported the malfunction have been taken down. Of course, we can't put the photo here but you can view it here at WWFoldschool.
While the unfortunate malfunction did happen, it's old news that certainly doesn't deserve much attention as there are more pressing matters to discuss.
Case in point, Fox's intoxicated appearance at the live event and the fact that Anderson surprisingly gave her the permission to wrestle.

What's next?
There is currently no word on the status of Fox, however, it does seem like she is facing the repercussions for her rash behavior. She hasn't been seen on WWE TV for a while and considering what happened, we don't expect her to return anytime soon.
