WWE News: Big rumor killer on Dean Ambrose's WWE departure after WrestleMania 35
What's the story?
As revealed by various sources and eventually WWE earlier this month, former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose appears to be on his way out of WWE when his contract expires this April.
News of Ambrose pending departure hit all the major wrestling news outlets and was confirmed by WWE shortly thereafter. In a possible update, it now seems like Ambrose may possibly re-sign with WWE.
In case you didn't know...
Dean Ambrose apparently made the decision that he would be leaving WWE when his contract expired after WrestleMania, late last year.
Rumblings making the rounds suggested that Ambrose has been unhappy with the direction of his character and position in WWE, and reportedly rejected several offers from WWE. Word going around was that Ambrose has made a lot of money working for WWE, and lives a simple lifestyle, so he would be living quite comfortably once departing WWE.
After his shocking heel turn last October, Ambrose has since turned face once again, and is currently on a bit of a losing streak.
The heart of the matter
It was recently noted by Wrestling Inc. that Roman Reigns was never removed from advertisements for WWE's upcoming post-WrestleMania UK/European tour in May, and also remains in the updated version. Another interesting addition to the tour is Dean Ambrose, who is supposed to have already left WWE by the time the tour begins.
WrestlingNews.co is also reporting that during a recent autograph session, Roman Reigns was asked by many people to comment on Dean Ambrose current situation. Reigns allegedly replied with "We're gonna work on that."
What's next?
It is a very interesting situation. On one hand, WWE themselves have confirmed that Dean Ambrose would be leaving the company in April, on the other, Ambrose addition to the May UK/European tour is a very recent one.
Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns are very close, so close that Ambrose was said to be in a very emotional state during Reigns announcement that his cancer was in remission. Could Roman reigns have convinced Ambrose to stick around WWE? Just maybe.
