#4. Update on WWE's plans for the Women's Tag Team Championship following Jade Cargill's injury
Jade Cargill faced a massive career setback ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames.
She was written off WWE TV with an injury angle, in which the former AEW star was shown lying unconscious on the hood of a car and a broken windshield. Cargill was taken out of the arena in an ambulance and hasn't been seen on SmackDown since.
The entire angle was played out to cover her legitimate injury, though the nature of it is still unknown. Her injury is said to be kept 'secret' within WWE.
The 32-year-old Superstar was scheduled to be a part of the babyfaces side for the Women's WarGames match. However, her untimely injury forced the creative team to replace her with Bayley.
Cargill was also pulled from the ongoing Women's United States Championship tournament. This brings us to the question: What does the future hold for the Women's Tag Team Championship?
According to WrestleVotes via Backstage Pass, Jade Cargill will be out of action for at least three months, which likely puts her WrestleMania 41 status in jeopardy.
As for the Women's Tag Team titles, she and Bianca Belair will be stripped of the titles soon.
#3. Will Brock Lesnar return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames?
Brock Lesnar's future hangs in the balance as fans await the verdict of the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Grant was allegedly asked to create explicit content for a former UFC Champion, which WWE was actively trying to re-sign. Though Lesnar wasn't named in the lawsuit, he was implicated based on subtle hints.
Since then, he hasn't been seen on television, with his last match coming against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in 2023.
Fans were hoping Brock Lesnar would be the 5th member of the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames, which will take place in his home country of Canada.
However, the speculation was put to rest when Paul Heyman inserted his former client CM Punk into the Bloodline Civil War.
In an interview with CBS Sports' Shakiel Mahjouri, The Wiseman seemingly confirmed that Brock Lesnar wouldn't be coming back until the legal dispute is resolved, which he doesn't think would happen by Survivor Series or by the end of 2024.
"I don't really put any thought into that at this time because it's not a subject that is going to resolve itself by Survivor Series or by the end of the year. Therefore, it is not on the radar of things to address," he said.
#2. Roman Reigns opens up about his retirement plans
Roman Reigns has been a cornerstone of WWE for almost a decade. However, he has started working a reduced schedule for the last few years, which has fans wondering how much time he has left in the ring.
While speaking to Jimmy Traina of the SI Media Podcast, The Original Tribal Chief addressed whether he has thought about his retirement.
“I guess it depends on what day you ask me and how I’m feeling that day. Sometimes the body feels like a train wreck, and I can vividly picture Sheamus hitting me with a chair somewhere over in Europe. You know what I mean? I’ve done that dance with a lot of the guys all over the world year over year. Sometimes no matter what you do, you just wake up and you’re sore and your body hurts. So sometimes, on those days, I tell you, man, what’s going on here? You know, everything’s good,"
He added:
"Maybe we could stop, but there’s just so much meat left on the bone. There’s so much to the performances that I’m learning, not only about myself, but just the performance in general, and how to manipulate them, how to get better at them, how to control the crowd better. Just all these different things, so many different stories to tell, new family members coming in.”
Roman Reigns will be in action at Survivor Series on November 30 when he, the OG Bloodline, and CM Punk lock horns with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline in a five-on-five WarGames match.
#1. Who will dethrone Cody Rhodes?
Cody Rhodes is all set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
However, retired wrestler Magnum T. A. thinks Randy Orton, not Kevin Owens, will be the one to end the fairytale run of The American Nightmare.
"I don't see Owens beating Cody. I see Randy beating Cody," he said.
The Viper has been out of action since taking a piledriver from Kevin Owens on the SmackDown after Crown Jewel. It will be interesting to see when he will be able to return to in-ring action.
