Welcome to yet another edition of the WWE News and Rumor roundup. In today's edition, we will examine some of the biggest news and rumors in the wrestling world.
AJ Lee has sent a message to Zelina Vega. The Rock has suffered a severe injury, and a legend of the wrestling business is currently battling brain cancer.
With that being the case, let's get into it without any further ado.
#1 WWE veteran AJ Lee and Zelina Vega's interaction
AJ Lee has sent a message to a former WWE champion, who has now responded. It turns out that Lee is a fan of Zelina Vega. The former Divas Champion is a true legend of the business, with many fans crediting her with kickstarting the Women's Revolution in the company. Outspoken and skilled in the ring, she is beloved but retired from wrestling in 2015.
Lee had to retire early due to the permanent damage she had sustained to her cervical spine, as she revealed in her memoir. On top of that, she was stuck in the middle of conflicts between WWE and her husband, CM Punk.
Zelina Vega recently posted in answer to a fan who praised her abs. Vega revealed she trained hard to portray AJ in the movie "Fighting With My Family." Seeing this, Lee praised Vega and called her a Goddess.
"You're a goddess," AJ wrote.
Vega was not ready for the answer to her comment and was left overwhelmed at seeing a star she looked up to so much replying to her. She said that it was Lee who was the Goddess and then said she loved her.
"Uhmmmmm?! Coming from THEEEE GODDESS?! ilysm @TheAJMendez 🥺," Vega responded.
#2 The Rock is injured
While shooting a film, The Rock suffered an elbow injury. He provided an update about the status of the elbow. He said that he'd had worse injuries and that, with work, he'd be back to normal.
"Elbow got kissed by the boo boo monster. No extensive tissue damage. Ruptured bursa sac that will eventually heal. I’ve had much worse, and as always let pain - and tequila - be the guide. Back to work. #thesmashingmachine #bennysafdie (thank you all for the love and healing/medicine recommendations Im good)," wrote the former multi-time WWE Champion.

#3 Ex-WWE star and legend battling brain cancer
A wrestling legend, Big Joe Doering, who spent a long time in WWE as well, is still battling brain cancer. Mick Foley and TNA told fans about Doering's condition in 2022, with Foley doing a lot to help raise money for his treatment.
Now, a report has updated fans on the situation. As it turns out, Doering is still fighting brain cancer, but on top of that, the side effects of the treatment have also taken a toll on the star. The report also stated that at this time, there was no way Doering would return to action any time soon, if at all, in TNA.
