WWE News & Rumor Roundup: Star rushed to the hospital, Unfortunate news on Roman Reigns' future, Rikishi on Jey Uso losing title
We are back with another edition of WWE News and Rumor Roundup where we discuss all the top stories and gossip making rounds in the world of the pro wrestling juggernaut. In today's piece, we will look at topics around Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, among others.
We will also be covering the RAW results in addition to checking out Rikishi's thoughts on Jey Uso losing the Intercontinental Championship. So without any further delay, let's begin.
#1. WWE RAW results
The RAW before Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia was filled with enthralling moments and matches. The Bloodline was once again present on the red brand as they attacked Jey and Jimmy Uso. However, The Usos were able to fend off the attack. We also saw another brawl between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed ahead of their match at the upcoming premium live event while Finn Balor breaking away from The Judgment Day was also teased.

#2. Rikishi shares thoughts on Jey Uso's title loss
Jey Uso's Intercontinental Championship reign came to an end just after 28 days as he lost the title to Bron Breakker on RAW last week. Rikishi, who has publicly called WWE out for his son's booking, once again questioned the company's decision to take the title off Jey so soon:
"I think it was too soon. If I’m the promoter, I’m only gonna go speak business wise, you know, finally Jey had gotten his flowers with the belt that he so rightfully earned and deserved it. Now we got it on this kid here. He’s well over. Now this character, this Yeet man, is through the roof as far as notoriety. Probably selling the number one hottest merchandise, if not close to OTC, maybe surpassed it," he said.
Jey Uso is now back in the Bloodline storyline. He reunited with Jimmy Uso on SmackDown last week and the duo will be joining forces with Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel to take on The Bloodline.
#3. Disappointing update on Roman Reigns' future
Fans have high hopes for Roman Reigns heading into WrestleMania season. While many expect The OTC to face off against The Rock at the Showcase of the Immortals, there are rumors that The Final Boss could collide with Cody Rhodes instead.
In another unfortunate update, it has been reported that Reigns is also not in contention to win the Royal Rumble 2025. It is still unclear what WWE's direction is for their biggest star.
#4. Seth Rollins taken to hospital
Seth Rollins' feud with Bronson Reed continued on WWE RAW last night as both men were involved in another brawl. While The Visionary managed to get the better of the powerhouse last week, Reed came out on top this time as he managed to hit Seth with a Death Valley Driver out of the truck and through some tables.
It was later noted that the former WWE Champion suffered an injury and was rushed to the nearby medical facility.
While there has been no update since the show ended, Seth's injury is most likely a work and he is expected to compete at WWE Crown Jewel this Saturday.
