Also, in one of the biggest news stories of the day, Stephanie McMahon has confirmed her return at an upcoming premium live event while sending a message to Triple H. So without further ado, let's check it out and more:
#1. Drew McIntyre suffering from personal loss
Drew McIntyre has been away from WWE programming since losing to CM Punk at Bad Blood. The Scottish Warrior was busted open during the match and required 16 staples to the head.
While the star is waiting to be cleared by the medical team, it was recently reported that he is also dealing with a death in the family.
McIntyre is not expected to return to action until mid-November. With his feud with CM Punk seemingly over, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and Co. have for him heading into the WrestleMania season.
#2. Stephanie McMahon sends a message to Triple H
Stephanie McMahon announced her departure from WWE in 2023 after working with the company for decades. The Billion Dollar Princess has made sporadic appearances since then, mostly seen among the crowd at major shows.
Stephanie recently took to Instagram to hype the WrestleMania 41 ticket sale. She also revealed that she will be present at the show next year while sending a message to her husband Triple H.
#3. Current WWE champion teases heel turn
NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer recently teased a heel turn after his segment with Randy Orton.
The Legend Killer advised the rising star that he could benefit from sometimes embracing his villainous side, following which Frazer teased a heel turn by taking a shot at Je'Von Evans:
"Je’von Evans isn’t who you think he is. He’s been handed any and every opportunity on a silver platter since he got here and now he thinks he’s the man and can do whatever the hell he wants…He’s a child. A petulant little child. #MASSIVEFRAUD," he wrote.
Evans and Frazer came face-to-face on NXT this week where the latter's trash talk resulted in him getting slapped by the Young OG. He took a shot at Evans after the segment.
#4. Cody Rhodes completes 200 days as the Undisputed WWE Champion
Cody Rhodes ended Roman Reigns' historic title reign at WrestleMania 40 to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion. The American Nightmare has now held the title for 200 days.
Cody is currently involved in a program with Gunther and the duo will face off for the Crown Jewel championship at the namesake premium live event. He will also have to keep a close eye on Kevin Owens who is currently suspended.
