Greetings and welcome to yet another edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's WWE News Roundup. Today, we will cover some exciting topics related to top names like former WWE Champion Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch.

It was expected that Roman Reigns would return around SummerSlam, however, that might not be the case anymore given recent events. Apart from that, we will also take a look at what top RAW Superstar Liv Morgan has claimed about "The Man" Becky Lynch. So without any further ado, let's dive into the top news and rumors from the world of WWE:

1#. Potential spoiler regarding Seth Rollins' match at WWE Money in the Bank

Former World Champion Seth Rollins has a chance to earn the title back at MITB as he is set to go one-on-one against Damian Priest. Rollins returned to WWE after WrestleMania 40 last week on RAW and has already received a shot at the coveted championship. However, he may not be regaining it at the event as per the Betting Odds.

According to BetOnline odds, The Archer of Infamy is favored to retain the title over The Visionary at Money in the Bank. Initially, Rollins had odds of +350, which have now improved to +200 (2/1). Meanwhile, Priest, who was a strong favorite with odds of -600, has seen his odds shift to -300 (1/3).

#2. Liv Morgan claims Becky Lynch has retired

"The Man" Becky Lynch is no longer a part of WWE as she chose not to renew her contract with the company. In her last match, she lost to Women's Champion Liv Morgan in a steel cage match. Morgan claimed on Twitter that she has retired Lynch. After USA Network made a post to mark the 10-year-anniversary of Lynch's debut:

"She was until I retired her."

The Man was originally supposed to take a sabbatical following her match against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40. However, she was unable to do that because of Ripley's untimely injury. It is not known at this point if The Man will ever return to competition or not. But if Morgan is to be believed, we might have seen the last of Becky Lynch.

#3. Unfortunate update regarding Roman Reigns' future

The former Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently had a major setback as he lost his father Sika Anoa'i as he passed away at the age of 79. Reigns was expected to return soon, however, as per Xero News, his return will now be delayed because of the passing of the WWE Hall of Famer:

''Expect the Roman return to be pushed back after the passing of His Father today,'' stated Xero News

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Reigns' future ever since he lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, and his historic Universal Championship reign came to an end. It was expected that he would return to confront Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline. It remains to be seen how the company will change it's original plans now that his return is delayed.
