WWE News: Rusev lashes out at Shane and Vince McMahon
What’s the story?
In a recent interview with Sporf, Rusev opened up on a myriad of topics; prominently lashing out at Shane & Vince McMahon, as well as their WWE 2K18 ratings.
Additionally, Rusev also asserted his displeasure at how the game developers have rated him; besides weighing in on the 2K18 ratings of a few other WWE Superstars namely the aforementioned McMahons, Big Show, Enzo Amore, Sheamus, Sami Zayn and Bobby Roode.
In case you didn’t know…
The WWE’s biggest annual video game developed by 2K gives fans the opportunity to play as their favorite WWE Superstars.
However, much like every year’s edition, WWE 2K18 has a Superstar Rating feature, whereby each individual Superstar in the game has his/her playable character’s rating decided by data compiled by the game developers in addition to input provided by the WWE.
The heart of the matter
Rusev gave his thoughts on receiving an ‘84’ rating in WWE 2K18; stating—
"Of course (I’m) not (happy). How can an undefeated Superstar for a whole year, go face John Cena at WrestleMania on a freaking tank, be rated 84? And Sami Zayn, who weighs 180 pounds, shaves his abs in with a razor, can have a higher rating than me? And also, Shane McMahon is what, 84? He wrestles once a year?"
"The only other realistic rating is Vince McMahon who has 74, cause he sucks."
Furthermore, Rusev opined that Enzo Amore (game rating 74) doesn’t deserve it, and mustn’t wrestle anyway. He added that Big Show (80) is a giant; alluding how shocking it is for the latter to have such a relatively low rating.
Besides, Rusev pointed out that his close friend Sheamus (85) ought to be 88, as the latter is a 4-time World champion and deserves more. Rusev also expressed his disappointment at being rated the same as Sami Zayn (84). The Bulgarian Brute insinuated that Bobby Roode (85) wasn’t even on the main roster when the game came out, and it’s probably his robe and flashy entrance that adds to his Superstar rating.

Rusev presently performs for the WWE’s Smackdown brand, and will team up with Aiden English to compete in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at the blue brand’s upcoming Clash Of Champions PPV on December 17th.
Author’s take
Rusev has a great sense to humor, to be honest.
Regardless, The Bulgarian Brute most definitely deserves a better rating in the WWE 2K18 game, and as for his criticism of the bosses—Shane O’Mac & Vince McMahon—it’s safe to say that they won’t be too mad at him for his tongue-in-cheek comments.
