WWE News: Rusev jests on Vince McMahon potentially relaunching the XFL

Rusev has taken to social media in order to share his views on the prospect of Vince McMahon potentially re-launching the XFL.
In his official Twitter handle, Rusev asserted that he would love to be added in the Defensive Tackle position before jesting at the prospect.

The professional wrestling community and world of sports-entertainment has been abuzz regarding speculation of Vince McMahon potentially bringing back his football league called the XFL.
McMahon has started a new firm called Alpha Entertainment which will explore various investment opportunities in the world of sports and entertainment. Besides, VKM Ventures—also owned by McMahon—has applied to trademark a couple of phrases which could be used to promote the new football league instead of using the old XFL name.
The heart of the matter
Addressing the possibility of the XFL being revamped and brought back in the near future, Rusev explained they ought to sign him up in the Defensive Tackle position.
Furthermore, the Bulgarian Brute jested that over the next few days he may or may not release a starting lineup - incorporating both offense and defense for the Nashville Crushers - to mark the Rusev Day.
What’s next?
Rusev presently competes for the WWE’s SmackDown brand. He will team up with Aiden English to compete in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
The Usos (C) versus The New Day versus Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin versus Rusev & Aiden English for the SmackDown Tag Team title takes place tonight at the Clash Of Champions PPV which airs from the TD Garden in Boston.

Rusev has always possessed a great sense of humor. He is slowly but steadily regaining his momentum by ascending on the WWE ladder. As for the XFL, it will be great to see Rusev try his hand at football as the Bulgarian Brute’s otherworldly athleticism and dedication is well documented.
