WWE News: Rusev in hilarious video making Rusev Day t-shirts himself
What's the story?
Rusev is one of the most over Superstars on the WWE SmackDown Live roster at the moment. His new gimmick of 'Rusev Day' is loved by the fans, and the Rusev Day T-Shirts sold out from WWE Shop very fast.
In a skit video he posted on his official Facebook page, to make fun of this, WWE's Rusev visited the factory which was printing his t-shirts, to find out why more t-shirts were not available for his fans to buy.
When he got there, he decided to lend a hand himself.
In case you didn't know...
Rusev did not always have a comedic persona. When he first arrived, he was classified as a foreign heel and had a long unbeaten run after winning the United States Championship. He was one of the top heels in the company and looked like he had a bright future in WWE.
More recently, Rusev faded from prominence. His run with the League of Nations was lacklustre, and being separated from his wife and on-screen manager Lana, did not do him any favours.
It looked like he might become another WWE Star who never reached his potential before he adopted the Rusev Day gimmick. His role has become lighter and more comedic, becoming a fan favourite, with the fans cheering him on and buying his merchandise. WWE, however, have kept him off-screen for unknown reasons for the last two episodes of SmackDown Live.
The heart of the matter
In the video that was posted, Rusev appeared at an office where he asked whether they were responsible for printing the 'Rusev Day' T-Shirts. When they said that they were, he ignored the receptionist and went to the back looking for the person responsible for printing his t-shirt.
He looked in many offices accosting the people in them, till he found one where two people were sitting with a white-board, planning the sales of his t-shirt. He threw them both out of the office after one of them said that they were 'over-capacity' in printing Rusev T-Shirts.
Rusev took matters into his own hands and went to the factory floor and pushed the person printing 'Rusev Day' t-shirts. He started to use the machine and printed t-shirts before he loaded them into crates and took them in his van, saying, "Kids are waiting out there." and finally shouting 'Happy Rusev Day' before driving off.

What's next?
Rusev is currently without an opponent for WWE Fastlane. In the remaining weeks before the show, he may start a feud so that he is engaged in a rivalry heading into Wrestlemania 34.
Author's take
Rusev is one of the most talented stars on the WWE roster and his comedic persona has revealed a new side of his abilities. WWE is wasting him without a feud at the moment, despite a lacklustre few weeks of SmackDown Live episodes, which have not lived up to their usual quality.
