WWE News: Ryback and Rusev take shots at each other on social media
What's the story?
When Jey Uso posted a video of Rusev lifting in the gym, little did he know of the mini social media feud that would ensue.
Ryback took a potshot at the Bulgarian Brute and the amount of weight he could lift. He then did the unthinkable and mocked Rusev Day. Rusev's response was just as scathing as Ryback's own snide comment.
In case you didn't know...
While Rusev Day should be celebrated by one and all, across the universe, it really is a fictional day created by Rusev and celebrated by his cohort, Aiden English, with truly mesmerizing melodies.
However, it is an occasion with a twist. For every single day is Rusev Day, according to Rusev, English and their many fans in WWE.
Ryback, of course, does not believe in Rusev Day, and therefore, it inspired a war of words on Instagram between these two monstrous men.
The heart of the matter
Ryback first made fun of 'The Bulgarian Brute' not lifting weights worthy of his moniker. Then, he cursed out loud and used language that shall not be repeated on this family-friendly site.
He expressed his disdain for Rusev Day, shocking the entire WWE Universe, especially those who celebrate this glorious day with much pomp and splendour, every day. Rusev responded, as only he can, and suggested that Ryback's workouts may not be 100% natural. Well, ouch!
What's next?
Next is Rusev Day. However, Rusev and Aiden English are also part of a Fatal Four Way for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships at Clash of Champions 2017. Ryback will remain a prominent feature in the independent wrestling circuit, and in possibly all likelihood, not be a fan of Rusev Day.
Author's take
This was all just good natured banter, in my opinion. Just two friends exchanging sarcastic comments on social media and nothing more.
