In case you didn’t know…

Zayn’s parents immigrated to Canada from their native of Syria back in the 1970s, and have called the North American nation their home ever since.
The heart of the matter
Sami Zayn set up ‘Sami For Syria’—a charitable organization providing assistance to people living in the war-torn nation of Syria—with the fund commencing its operations in July 2017.
Sami Zayn sent out a Tweet by way of his official Twitter account; asserting that to celebrate the generous spirit of Christmas, he is matching every dollar donated to SamiForSyria.com; amounting up to $5K thus far.
Furthermore, Zayn reiterated that every dollar donated goes toward funding his organization’s mobile clinic in Syria. Zayn urged fans to share and Retweet this post on social media and spread the love; wishing everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
What’s next?
As of this writing, Sami Zayn’s organization has accumulated more than $71,000, with considerable additions expected over the next few days.
Zayn is presently involved in a storyline alongside his ally Kevin Owens against SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon on SmackDown Live.
Author’s take
Sami Zayn is a class act. The energetic underdog from the underground is always one to put a positive spin on the most disappointing situations one could come across—war being one of the topmost on that list.
It’s great to see Zayn give back to the people of Syria. Here’s hoping the powers-that-be restore peace in the highly volatile nation at the earliest.
Sportskeeda wishes you a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
