WWE News: Samoa Joe To Be Called Up To The Main Roster This Monday?
WWE NXT star Samoa Joe was hired almost a year ago by WWE. It was at this time last year that all through WrestleMania week, we thought that the Samoan Submission Machine would end up with WWE eventually. Then, he showed up almost two months later and confronted then NXT Champion Kevin Owens. It was a great moment to see, but most felt that Samoa Joe was only going to be signed strictly for NXT use.

Joe’s merchandise sold very well on day one and Triple H felt that he was more than worthy of an exclusive deal, which would force him to leave the independent circuit where he was still working while with WWE early on.
Fast-Forward to Friday night, the world expected Samoa Joe to win the NXT Championship, which would free up Finn Balor to come to the main roster. Instead, Joe lost.
Now according to Cageside Seats, Samoa Joe very well could be on the main roster very soon. The idea was that the person who lost at WWE NXT Takeover in the world title match would be the one to be called up. According to The Wrestling Observer, an audible was called very soon into the event which had Joe winning over Balor originally. WWE then changed it, most likely due to Samoa Joe’s call up happening sooner rather than later/
On top of this, Samoa Joe told Brian Fritz of Between the Ropes regarding a main roster run:
“Time will tell. Stay tuned. That’s all I’m going to say, man. Let surprises be surprises, let fun be fun.”
The rumor is that we could see Samoa Joe by this Monday on WWE RAW.
