WWE News: Scott Hall misses independent show due to health issues
What's the story?
WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall recently missed an independent show, because of a health scare.
In case you didn't know
Hall is a former Intercontinental champion and Tag team champion. In 1996 he (alongside Kevin Nash) joined WCW, forming the New World Order with Hulk Hogan.
Hall has unfortunately suffered from drink and drug abuse but has attempted to clean himself up, working with Diamond Dallas Page, after Page helped Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.
In 2014, Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The heart of the matter
Hall was meant to attend 'Summer Rizing 2', an event for Rival Pro Wrestling, in Pomona, California.
However, the promotion put out a statement, saying that he would be unable to attend.
Unfortunately, due to a Medical Emergency, Scott will be unable to travel. We are working on a possible date to reschedule. Scott’s health is most important at this time and we wish him the best.
Scott loves his fans and is upset he can’t make the show but as we said his health is most important and we are working on rescheduling with him.
Us here at Rival Pro Wrestling would like send a quick prayer out to Scott Hall and wish him a speedy recovery.
We deeply apologize to all the fans that were coming out to see Scott. To all who have purchased a meet & Greet ticket GeminiSports Cards will be offering a credit to his next scheduled appearance at Rival Pro."
What's next?
We can only hope that this medical issue does not involve drink or drugs and that Hall is able to perform for the Rival Pro Wrestling fans in the near future.
We here at Sportskeeda would like to send our very best wishes to Scott Hall and are hoping for a speedy recovery.
