WWE News: Scott Steiner becomes witness in an attempted murder

Scott Steiner was ranked #6 among 500 best wrestlers of the year 1991 by PWI

This past week, former WWE tag team champion, Scott Steiner apparently witnessed an attempt to murder at a Hardee's restaurant in Acworth, Georgia. As he was present at that place, Scott was described as a "witness".

According to Steiner, the incident was "pretty freaky" and even mentioned that it was a "once in a lifetime thing" because the area is pretty mellow. Scott also owns a Shoney's restaurant near that place.

Wrestlinginc.com reports that it was highly likely that the reporter, Dante Renzulli had no idea on who Scott Steiner was. Headlining numerous pay-per-views throughout his wrestling career, Scott Steiner has been a part of sveral wrestling promotions including Extreme Championship Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action, WWE etc.

He was also a member of the New World Order(nWo) faction in WCW. He is a former 2-time tag team champion in WWE with Rick Steiner, their team being named as the Best Tag Team of the Year 1991 by Wrestling Observer Newsletter
