Seth Rollins' wrestling school is selling a Hurricane Harvey Relief Tee!

What’s the story?

Hurricane Harvey has devastated the area of Houston, Texas. Homes have been destroyed, thousands have been displaced, and dozens so far have lost their lives.

WWE's Seth Rollins announced on his Instagram that he was doing what he could to help out, offering a deal through his wrestling school on a shirt that would donate 100% of proceeds to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Due to a positive response to the sale, there's more time to pick up one of these shirts.

The world gets smaller every day. There is no excuse not to help out our brothers and sisters when they're in need. 100% of the proceeds from this shirt will go to helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey. I hope it's our best selling shirt of all time.

In case you didn’t know…

According to The Washington Post, Hurricane Harvey dropped an unfathomable 24.5 trillion gallons of water throughout southeast Texas and southern Louisiana. Unfortunately for Houston, the fourth most populated city in the United States, it found itself directly in the path of this behemoth of a storm system. Even Booker T was forced to miss Monday's RAW as he wisely avoided treacherous travel.

The heart of the matter

The areas most affected by this hurricane are going to need all the help that they can get. Current WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins is offering this deal through blackandbraveapparel.bigcartel.com, the online shop for Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. All proceeds go toward Hurricane Relief.

“The world gets smaller every day. There is no excuse not to help out our brothers and sisters when they’re in need. 100% of the proceeds from this shirt will go to helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey. I hope it’s our best selling shirt of all time.”

According to the online shop, the shirt is listed for $28.00 and runs from size Small all the way up to 3X.

What’s next?

The sale originally was set to end during the middle of this week. After a huge response from wrestling fans that wanted to help out, it was announced on the Black and Brave Twitter account that this deal will be extended until Friday. Those running the deal wanted to make sure they could take pay day orders from whoever might need that flexibility.

Author’s take

It's heartbreaking to see so many lives ruined by Hurricane Harvey. What rebuilding that can be done will take many years and tons of resources. This offer from Seth Rollins shows his heart, which should make his fans proud. Also, it's a pretty sweet shirt. Getting to help out a good cause and getting sports gear that looks good is a win-win for any wrestling fan.
