WWE News: Seth Rollins makes 'Game of Thrones' entrance for WrestleMania 34 Intercontinental Title match
What's the story?
Seth Rollins called upon one of the most popular television shows in history, 'Game of Thrones' for his WrestleMania 34 entrance opening WrestleMania as a White Walker from the iconic series.
In case you didn't know...
Seth Rollins was competing for the Intercontinental Title in a Triple-Threat match against the champion The Miz and Finn Balor and the Triple-Threat Title match kicked off WrestleMania 34.
In the build-up to the match, a big deal had been made of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins trading wins and scouting each other's moves, whilst The Miz criticised both of them for being 'Bingo Hall' wrestlers.
The heart of the matter
Rollins entered the New Orleans arena sporting blue contacts and ice-themed graphics walking down the to the ring looking like of the menacing White Walkers from 'Game of Thrones'.
For those who don't know White Walkers are sort-of ice zombies that are hell-bent on killing everyone in Westeros the fictional world where 'Game of Thrones' takes place. So it seems that the man who also wants to burn it all down was sending a message to his opponents.
Rollins would go on to win the match becoming the final member of The Shield to win the Grand Slam in the WWE and the new Intercontinental Champion.
What's next?
The other two entrances from The Miz and Finn Balor were also great, The Miz took a note out of Velveteen Dream's book and sported a steampunk style outfit whilst Balor entered in his new LGBT shirt accompanied by several members of the New Orleans LGBT community.
Author's take
Thanks Seth Rollins, the last thing I wanted to do during WrestleMania was miss 'Game of Thrones' but here we are with me missing 'Game of Thrones' but also feeling very happy for you.
