Tonight's Monday Night Raw ended with AJ Styles becoming the #1 contender for Seth Rollins' Universal Title at Money In The Bank 2019.

Rollins took to Twitter and stated that he has been ready for this match since the past 15 years.

In case you didn't know...

Seth Rollins won the Universal Title in the opening match at WrestleMania 35, when he defeated The Beast, Brock Lesnar, in a matter of minutes. A low blow, followed by three thunderous Curb Stomps sealed the deal for Rollins at MetLife Stadium, and he finally managed to do what he had been promising ever since he won the Royal Rumble match earlier this year.

The heart of the matter

With the Money In The Bank PPV almost on the horizon, it was time to determine a challenger for Rollins' newly won championship. Two triple threat matches led to AJ Styles facing off against Baron Corbin in the main event, for a shot at the Universal Title. Styles managed to put down Corbin and the fans roared in unison, as the dream match was soon going to turn into reality.

Rollins was quick to comment on what had just transpired. He posted an interesting tweet, stating that he had been waiting for this match since the past 15 years!

AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins is one match that the WWE Universe was clamoring for a long while. The general consensus among fans was that these two Superstars would go on to headline a future WrestleMania, but it seems like WWE doesn't want to wait any longer.
