What's the story?

The banner on WWE.com has been slightly altered.

According to reports from WrestlingInc.com and Wrestlezone, Seth Rollins has replaced Roman Reigns as the central figure on the Raw banner graphic on WWE.com.

The news was provided by Ryan Satin.

In case you didn't know...

The old graphic above contained (from left to right) Ronda Rousey, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss.

Since Reigns has been out of action for close to two months, WWE has changed the graphic to represent the a few of the other stars currently active on the show weekly. And Brock Lesnar is still there.

Since Rollins has basically taken over the role as top face of Raw, it makes sense to put him in the central spot of the graphic on the website.

The heart of the matter

With the omission of Reigns from the new graphic, another wrestler needed to be added to the picture. The reports and picture itself reveals the new wrestler added to the Raw banner graphic on the WWE website.

Drew McIntyre has been added to the new banner graphic.

With Rollins move to the center of the picture, Drew McIntyre has replaced the Kingslayer, while the rest of the superstars remain the same.

What's next?

With the switch of Reigns to Rollins as the central figure in the banner graphic, it appears that at least for the foreseeable future, Reigns will likely not be featured. Even though he's currently out of action to deal with leukemia, he's made appearances sporadically and has appearances scheduled for the near future.

Putting Rollins in the middle makes more sense with the roster's current dynamic as does adding McIntyre. They have both been heavily featured on programming since the summer. Both men have been rumored to be getting pushes in the near future and each man has been rumored to have a shot at winning the Royal Rumble.

And it's no surprise that the two lone women on the graphic are still Rousey and Bliss. They have been the two ladies who have been given the most time on camera since Summerslam. Rousey is the Raw Women's Champ and Bliss is a favourite of the backstage officials, it seems.
