WWE News: Seth Rollins talks getting The Shield back together
What's the story?
The Shield consisted of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns. The trio ran roughshod over the WWE roster for around two years and then broke up to go their separate ways.
Seth and Dean reunited to claim the Raw Tag Team Championships but they're still missing The Big Dog. Seth Rollins recently spoke to The Dakota Student about a possible full reunion for The Shield.
In case you didn't know...
The Shield might have been heels on television but they quickly became fan favorites. When Seth Rollins turned on his brothers and disbanded The Hounds Of Justice it solidified him as a top heel and the Face Of The Authority.
During the road to SummerSlam 2017, Seth and Dean got back together and ran toward the Raw Tag Team Championships. 2/3 of The Shield captured the red tag team titles, but fans were still left wondering how long it will be until Reigns joins their efforts. After all, they're all on Raw right now.
The heart of the matter
Seth Rollins spoke to The Dakota Student about his current career path. During the interview, he was asked whether there was a possible full Shield reunion on the horizon.
"Obviously right now I'm focusing on being the Raw Tag Team Champion. You know a Shield reunion -- who knows? I never thought Ambrose and I would be back together doing this, so if we got Roman on board, that'd be great. But we got a lot of stuff to deal with on our own. We got Cesaro and Sheamus breathing down our necks."
What's next?
As Ambrose and Rollins continue in their alliance there will always be the possibility for Roman Reigns to join them.
However, it looks like Roman is plenty busy battling on top of the roster right now.

The Shield were one of the best parts of WWE for the time they were an active stable. But when they broke up it created three singles stars to take the WWE by storm.
Money In The Bank 2016 was an especially big night for The Shield because all three former members held the WWE Championship on the same night.
Perhaps there is the chance for even more activity between the three of them as time goes on. But for now, it looks like they have their own paths to greatness at the moment.
