WWE News: Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan invited to raw, State of WWE Universe debate announced

An inevitable Takeover?

Next week’s Raw, is the go-home show for Survivor Series. This week’s editionsaw Raw commissioner, Stephanie McMahon, invite Smackdown Live commissioner, Shane McMahon and General Manager, Daniel Bryan, to Raw next weekand they seemed to have accepted.

Furthermore, WWE announced on Twitter that following next week’s episode of Raw; there will be a program called “State of the WWE Universe” program, featuring Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Mick Foley, and Daniel Bryan in a live debate; perhaps to heat up the inter-brand war before Survivor Series.

This coming Survivor Series will feature three traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination matches. The first is a Men’s singles 5-on-5, the second is a Women’s singles 5-on-5, and the third is a Tag Team 5-on-5.

So far, all the teams are complete. Except for the Smackdown Live Tag Team, which requires only one more team to complete and will presumably be revealed in the coming episode of Smackdown Live.

It will be interesting to see if Shane and Bryan, bring some of their Smackdown Live stars with them, such as, Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles, who are currently the top two names in the brand.

Daniel Bryan’s response to Stephanie McMahon on Talking Smack should be fascinating. He has garnered a reputation for being a provocateur on the show.

However, his provocation of some talents such as The Miz, Baron Corbin, and Alexa Bliss have helped them tremendously, in their character development, as they managed to showcase their skill to respond, at a moment’s notice.

Another inter-promotional match happening at Survivor Series, is Smackdown Live’s, Dolph Ziggler, putting his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Sami Zayn. This is a match many expect to tear down the house at Toronto. Not only is Sami Zayn in his home country, but both have a reputation for putting on incredible, show-stealing matches.
