WWE News: SmackDown Live superstar attempts to break world record

She tried so hard, and got so far...
So did Natalya set a new world record?

What's the story?

WWE Superstar Natalya is always up for a challenge. It doesn't matter if it's in the ring or a chance to be immortalized in the Guinness Book of World Records.

While on the road for Total Divas media, Natalya tried to set a record for the longest slime stretch. Needless to say, she didn't set the record.

In case you didn't know...

Natalya is one of the veterans of the SmackDown Live Women's Division, who's done it all in her long and prosperous career.

She's a former Women's Champion and also a former Divas champion, in addition to making history by being a part of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble.

The only thing that she's seemingly not achieved in her career is a chance to be in the Guinness Book of records. Little wonder then that she aspired for the elusive title.

The heart of the matter

Lana and Natalya were on the road to do media for Total Divas, when Natalya was presented with a unique opportunity. She had to stretch a piece of slime the longest distance without breaking it, to set this record.

From the very start, it was obvious that Natalya did not have this record under her control. She tried her best, but could only manage a very small stretch before giving up. The host, quite playfully, asked her to stick to wrestling.

It must be noted that Lana had attempted a pencil bag record as well, and failed. Looks like neither diva mangaged to set a record.

One of the most interesting things about this video was Lana not talking in a Russian accent.

What's next?

Neither Natalya nor Lana seem to be in the SmackDown Live Women's title picture. Natalya is no longer in the Mixed Match Challenge either. On the other hand, Lana and Rusev have a chance to create history as part of the tournament.

Author's take

This was fun! Tough luck, Nattie Neidhart.

While the women keep making new records in WWE, unfortunately, they're not officially Guinness approved.
