WWE News: Sneak Peek of Cody Rhodes' new official theme by Downstait released

Cody Rhodes’s new theme song released

American Rock band Downstait, have made several popular songs such as “I Came to Play”, which is the Miz’s entrance theme, “Say It to My Face”, which is the now ex-WWE Superstar Alex Riley’s entrance theme, “I am Perfection” and “Here to Show The World”, which current contender for the WWE Championship, Dolph Ziggler is using, and last but not the least is the current rendition of Zack Ryder’s theme “Radio” which has also been performed by Downstait.

All the songs mentioned above are still being used by the WWE for the mentioned superstars in the times, when almost all the WWE/NXT Superstars have themes done by the in-house WWE Band CFO$, which just says a lot about Downstait. These guys’ music speaks for themselves, and carrying on with their traditions of creating memorable entrance themes, they’ve made a new entrance theme for someone who just left the WWE.

Who could it be?

Well people, the name’s in the title, the theme is for one of the hottest free-agents in the business right now, Cody Rhodes. Yes guys Cody Rhodes has a new theme titled “Kingdom” which has been composed by Downstait. But, sadly right now there is only a thirty-two second preview of the song available on YouTube of which the link will be posted at the end of the article. I’ve heard the preview, and it’s amazing!

Just to remind everyone that Cody Rhodes along with several released superstars like Damien Sandow who now wrestles in TNA, and Wade Barrett, is genuinely the hottest free-agent. Imagine the pop Rhodes will receive on shows like WCPW, Evolve, PWG, Ring of Honor etc. he will need a theme fitting for his persona and I think “Kingdom” is that theme. The song has this really raw feel to it, with the vocals, guitars and everything, but also being catchy.

Anyway, in conclusion, I think Rhodes obviously has a bright future ahead of him, as he is no more within anyone’s clutches, but Downstait is definitely going to hit a new high once the full version of “Kingdom” releases. I truly wish Downstait and Cody Rhodes the best in their future endeavours.
