WWE News: Stone Cold to undergo surgery after performing injured at WrestleMania
As reported earlier, WWE legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin confessed to picking up a torn rotator cuff injury prior to his surprise appearance at WrestleMania 32 which caused him some problems during the event.
However, it has now emerged that the Rattlesnake may need to go under the knife for this wound, which has been giving him some issues for quite some time according to Jim Ross , reports wrestlinginc.com.
Ross, in his blog, said: "Steve Austin will likely be getting his torn rotator cuff attended to soon. Steve had a brief but memorable appearance at WrestleMania in his home state carrying the injury but the first punch he threw at Rusev completely tore the muscle. Steve outlines that experience on his recent podcast, “The Steve Austin Show” on Podcast One.
Stone Cold surprised everyone at WrestleMania 32 when he appeared in the ring alongside fellow Hall of Famers Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels, to humble the League of Nations.
Austin spoke of the injury and how it only worsened once he had a go at League of Nations member Rusev, but still stated he had a good time reuniting with Foley and Michaels in the ring.
