WWE News: Team Hell No reunites for Kane's mayoral campaign

I AM TH
I AM THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Team Hell No entertained the WWE Universe in 2012 and 2013

What's the story?

A former tag team is set to reunite, outside of the WWE ring, though, as Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan will join Kane on October 5th in Knoxville, Tennessee to help promote Kane's campaign to become Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

In case you didn't know...

Kane hasn't appeared in the WWE since November of 2016 as he has devoted much of his time to focus on his desire to become Mayor.

This past March, he officially announced that he would campaign to become Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee in an election that will take place in August of 2018.

The heart of the matter

The event takes place at the Hunter Valley Farm in Knoxville with the proceeds to benefit Glenn Jacobs for Knox County Mayor. In addition to Bryan, The Big Show will also join the festivities that take place this Thursday.

Those in the Knoxville, Tennessee area can purchase tickets at the following link.

Team Hell No was a tag team that was reluctantly put together in 2012 featuring Kane and Daniel Bryan. The two were feuding at the time, as well as losing their temper, which prompted then General Manager AJ Lee to force them to take anger management classes.

The pairing resulted in several hilarious skits, but also resulted in some gold. Team Hell No defeated Kofi Kingston and R-Truth for the tag team championships at Night Of Champions in the fall of 2012. They held those titles for an impressive 245 days before being defeated by The Shield the following May at Extreme Rules.

What's next?

As Kane continues to prepare for the mayoral primary next May, the Smackdown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan, focuses on Hell In A Cell a week from this Sunday.

The Commissioner that he works for, Shane McMahon, will square off against Kevin Owens inside the cell.

Author's take

This will be a treat for the WWE fans who will come out to support Kane next week. Hopefully, they do some of the Team Hell No things that made the pairing so popular like yelling at each other "I AM THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS" or even better yet, hugging it out.
