WWE News: Teaser on the plans for Braun Strowman and the Raw Tag Team titles at WrestleMania 34
What's the story?
Braun Strowman winning last week's Tag Team Battle Royal to determine the new #1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Titles has refreshingly made things intriguing on the road to WrestleMania.
In the midst of all confusion, WWE posted a preview for Raw on its website and teased a possible solution to the tag team titles conundrum.
In case you didn't know...
The Monster Among Men buried the Raw tag team division last week when he tossed each and everyone over the top rope to earn the opportunity to face The Bar for the tag titles at Mania.
The problem is that Strowman is without a partner and seems hell-bent on becoming the first-ever sole tag team champion in WWE history.
But WWE may still have a few tricks left in the bag.
The heart of the matter
WWE has promised to resolve the ambiguity surrounding Strowman, Sheamus and Cesaro's role at WrestleMania in the preview given below as published on WWE.com:
Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has a lot on his plate going into this year’s Show of Shows — including his Mixed Tag Team Match with Ronda Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon — but he’ll need to sort out Strowman’s Road to WrestleMania sooner than later. Will Angle rule in favor of The Monster Among Men, or will all of Team Red suffer the consequences if Strowman doesn’t get his way?
What's next?
WWE has two straightforward options to work with -- either get Strowman a partner or book him as a one-man wrecking crew.
As for the potential partners, Bray Wyatt, Big Show and Elias are the speculated names doing the rounds in the rumour mill.
Author's take
In all honesty, Strowman doesn't need any help to beat Sheamus and Cesaro on 8 April in New Orleans. WWE needs to keep it fresh and just give The Monster Among Men the darn belts.
