WWE News: The Miz and Maryse announce the birth of their daughter
What's the story?
Maryse announced that she was expecting her first child with her husband The Miz back in 2017 and has been off screen ever since, after announcing that her expected due date was around WrestleMania weekend. The couple has taken to social media today to announce the arrival of their daughter a week early.
In case you didn't know...
Miz and Maryse have been very public about their first child and it seems that the company has backed the duo all the way through the pregnancy which will no doubt play a huge part in their new TV series Miz and Mrs.
Maryse was seen back at Raw's 25th Anniversary where she was able to show off her baby bump alongside fellow pregnant diva Maria Kanellis. Their daughter's due date caused a number of issues since it was revealed that Maryse's due date was 6 April, the day of the Hall of Fame ceremony and the day that marks the beginning of WrestleMania weekend.
The Miz's presence at WrestleMania was rumored to be up in the air after this announcement, but it seems that this will no longer be an issue.
The heart of the matter
The Miz and Maryse have taken to Social Media in the last hour to announce the arrival of their daughter who they have called Monroe Sky Mizanin after she was welcomed to the world yesterday.
WWE have also tweeted their congratulations to their current Intercontinental Champion and his wife on the newest addition to their happy family.
What's next?
Miz will only have a few days to enjoy time with his new arrival since it seems that he will be in attendance at Monday Night Raw next week, just six days before he defends his Championship in a triple threat match against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor at WrestleMania.

Miz and Maryse have become the "It Couple" in WWE over the past few years and it's fantastic that they are now a perfect family. It's great to think that Miz and Daniel Bryan's daughters could be the wrestling at WrestleMania in a few decades time, following on from the feud that their fathers have already started.
Congratulations on The Miz and Maryse their daughter will be one of the most stylish children in the world and a sure-fire A-lister one day.
