WWE News: The Rock goes on a rant about Vin Diesel and some of his fellow Fast 8 co-stars
The Rock has always been known as the most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment. ‘The people’s champion’ has achieved stardom both in and out of the ring and so much so that any show he is advertised to be a part of instantly becomes a memorable one.
Rocky raised a few eyebrows recently when he spoke against a few of his Fast 8 co-stars. In what can only be called an emotional post, the actor-producer praised the movie's crew, Universal Studios Entertainment, and his amazing female co-stars. However, he made a point to note that his "male co-workers, however, are a different story," and wrote that "Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."
In his post on Monday, The Rock had plenty of praise for actresses Charlize Theron, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez, but he vented his relief that filming for the movie was finally coming to an end. He said that apart from working with Charlize, Jordana and Michelle and a great behind the scenes crew, the experience genuinely made his 'blood boil'. One of the production sources reported to TMZ that there had been many conflicts due to the extreme egos among the top actors, with the help of their lawyers and agents.
Apparently, the person the Rock was referring to has been revealed to be Vin Diesel. Dwayne Johnson was in fact in a beef with Vin Diesel, who is not only one of the stars of the Fast & Furious movies but also one of the franchise's producers. There have been claims that the two beefcake action heroes met on Tuesday to bring an end to their squabble as it was affecting the last days of filming. The two clashed on set because Vin Diesel made some decisions as a producer that did not sit well with the “Brahma Bull”.
The Rock's male Fast 8 co-stars were left stunned after the actor called them out for being divas in a Facebook rant on Monday. TMZ reports that the male stars of the show are upset at Dwayne for obliquely calling them out. The 44-year-old stars alongside Diesel, Scott Eastwood and Jason Statham in the latest installment of the Fast And Furious action franchise.
