WWE News: The Rock responds to Vince McMahon's comment about him
What's the story?
The Rock isn't just one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time but he's also one of the biggest movie stars ever as well. When he celebrates the Holidays, The Rock does it in style as he illustrated on the cover of Entertainment Weekly while he dressed up like Dwanta Clause.
After all, Dwayne Johnson keeps plenty busy so why should Christmas night be any different where he will travel the globe giving gifts to nice little boys and girls and Rock Bottoms to those who have been naughty.
In case you didn't know...
Just because The Rock is gone from WWE, for now, doesn't mean there isn't still a very fond attachment between The People's Champ and World Wrestling Entertainment.
In fact, The Rock is still a top mover and shaker for WWE and he doesn't even have to make the busy schedule anymore. All he has to do is keep being his awesome self.
The heart of the matter
The chairman of the board Vince McMahon commented on Dwayne Johnson's Entertainment Weekly cover by saying there's nobody on the planet who's more entertaining or electrifying than The Rock.
This statement rings true and continues to add in importance and value as The Rock continues to dominate the box office with every project he puts out. At this point, it seems like The Rock just can't miss.
The Rock obviously saw Mr McMahon's comment in his timeline. After all, it's probably very hard to ignore that big blue checkmark with Vince McMahon's face next to it. Johnson's reply was both touching and respectful as he spoke about how much McMahon means to him. It was a very awesome reply indeed.
What's next?
Time very well might tell Dwayne Johnson as being one of the most important figures in entertainment history. Not only is he making a ton of money in Hollywood but he very well could find himself in the White House someday if things go well for him in that arena.
Author's take
The Rock is electrifying indeed and when he's on the screen it's hard to pay attention to anyone but him. He was a blue chipper since he first debuted in WWE and picked up the pro wrestling business like a duck to water due to his amazing pedigree in the business.
It seems that Hollywood was just as kind of him. At this point, I just have to wonder if there's anything The Rock can't do.
