WWE News: The Singh Brothers pay tribute to Eddie Guerrero
What's the story?
The Singh Brothers of WWE SmackDown Live visited the grave of the deceased Eddie Guerrero in Arizona.
Guerrero, who tragically died back in November of 2005, was widely regarded by fans as one of the most entertaining wrestlers in WWE History.
In case you didn't know...
The Singh Brothers are the current henchman of Indian-Canadian WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, on SmackDown. When they were growing up, Sunil and Samir Singh were both huge WWE fans.
The pinned tweet on their Twitter page @SinghBrosWWE is a tweet from August, in which they mention meeting Guerrero before he died and how they asked for his wrestling advice.
The intriguing thing about Sunil Singh (the eldest of the two) is that he was born on the 13th of November 1984 (according to prowrestling.wikia.com) - the same date Eddie Guerrero died on in 2005.
The heart of the matter
Yesterday, The Singh Brothers were in El Paso, Texas for a WWE Smackdown live event, and El Paso is where Eddie Guerrero came from.
The brothers are in Arizona today for tonight's episode of SmackDown Live, and with the late great Eddie Guerrero's grave being located at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, Scottsdale, Arizona, the pair took a visit. You can see them tweet about their visit below at their @SinghBrosWWE Twitter account:
What’s next?
The Singh Brothers will appear with Jinder Mahal tonight on SmackDown Live, a show Eddie made so great when he was alive.
Guerrero will continue to be remembered by the mass wrestling fans he had in the world. He contributed so much to the business in his time at ECW, WCW, and especially WWE, with his cheat-to-win persona making him one of the most popular guys to have ever graced a pro wrestling ring.
Author’s take
I really admire the Singh Brothers for paying respect to a deceased Superstar such as Eddie Guerrero. The Singh Brothers definitely love the wrestling business that Eddie cherished so much, and he would be proud of them. I hope the brothers continue making waves as Jinder Mahal's back-up men.
Eddie's death at such a young age of 38 devastated so many, but one thing is for sure, he will remain in our hearts and memories for years to come.
