WWE News: The Undertaker spotted out of character at local Subway
What's the story?
When you're someone as iconic as The Undertaker it's hard to get anything done without drawing attention to yourself. What might seem like an everyday non-event to a regular person comes off looking monumental when you put a purple filter on it and fill the room with smoke.
Unfortunately for us, that didn't happen when 'The Dead Man' entered his local Subway restaurant but it would have been pretty cool if it did. Still, it's always fascinating to see The Undertaker doing things that normal people do, like ordering food, especially as we rarely see him out of character.
In case you didn't know...
The Undertaker might have wrestled his last match at WrestleMania 33 against Roman Reigns. Of course, the word is we'll get a better idea if we should expect him back by the time the Raw 25th Anniversary rolls around.
As of right now, The Undertaker is taking it easy with his family and enjoying his downtime which includes eating, like a normal human being.
The heart of the matter
Pictures were taken of The Phenom as he ordered at a local Subway sandwich shop close to where he lives in Texas. The Sun posted plenty of pictures portraying The Undertaker participating in normal human behavior.
This is just one of the many examples of how a mundane task can be made to look even more special if it's being carried out by a shoo-in WWE Hall Of Famer like The Undertaker.
What's next?
Odds are The Undertaker eats a few times a day so there are going to be plenty more chances for people to take pictures of him while he's living his life.
Author's take
The Undertaker is a legend and has ingrained himself into, not just pro wrestling, but pop culture in general. His image is iconic and recognizable for many people. But it might be a little bit harder to tell if it's The Undertaker if he's holding a footlong sandwich. I just want to know what he ordered so I can eat like 'The Dead Man' next time I feel visit Subway.
