WWE News: The Usos blame Roman Reigns for fans's negative reaction to them
For those who have yet to see Talking Smack, make sure you check it without fail. It is undoubtedly one of the best things on the WWE Network right now, and it has gotten great reviews from pundits and fans alike. The show airs after Smackdown Live goes off the air with Renee Young and Daniel Bryan being the hosts. It has been entertaining since the very first episode and this week too had many takeaways to ponder upon.
Firstly, Carmella attacked Nikki Bella from behind and the two had to be separated by The Usos. Secondly, and the most talked about one, was The Miz laying down a verbal assault to Daniel Bryan. Speaking of The Usos, they dropped a bit of a truth bomb themselves which has seemingly gone unnoticed.
When Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan asked them “There have been occasions where you guys go out there, you guys are smiling, and the fans sometimes are not so receptive. What do you think that is?” Jimmy Uso had no issue speaking his mind:
Jey Uso then elaborated:
“It gets me sometimes, because we work hard. I feel like the WWE Universe still respects us, but at the same time, they’ve kind of lost respect for the Usos. They drink a lot of Haterade.”
There is a great element of truth to what they said. While The Usos may not have been the most over tag team in the past few years, the hatred towards them has reached a new level. And since Reigns has so much negativity associated with him, it is bound to rub off on the twins as well.
Luckily for them, The Usos and Roman Reigns have been separated after the brand split, and The Usos are easily the Number 2 tag team in the division, behind American Alpha. It is being rumored that The Usos will be turning heel to help elevate American Alpha and the entire Smackdown Live Tag Team Division.
