WWE News: Tommy Dreamer believes that The Dudley Boyz will wrestle again

Have we seen the last of them?

As seen on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, the former WWE Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz waved goodbye to WWE Universe in an emotional segment.

However, while it's clear that we will not see the Legendary tag team in action inside a WWE ring anytime soon, there are many who believe the duo will continue their wrestling career in the independent circuit.

During a recent interview given to WrestleZone Radio, ECW Legend and close friend of the Dudley Boyz Tommy Dreamer claimed that we will see the Dudley Boyz wrestling again. Thanks to wrestlezone.com, below is an exclusive excerpt from the interview:

Upon being asked how he felt about the final segment of the former Tag champs on Raw and being a close friend of both what it means to him to watch the moment on WWE TV, Tommy said that it a great moment for him. He said:

"For me, letting the WWE Universe say, “Goodbye,” to the Dudleyz was a great and classy move by the WWE. It was cool for the Dudleyz to help get some more steam on The Club. I think that was great. "

Talking about the retirement segment of Dudley Boys this past Monday on Raw, Dreamer said that he loved the fact that they got a farewell but said that he will give $1000 if they don't wrestle again:

"I love the fact that happened for The Dudleyz. Do I think that’s the last time The Dudleyz are going to tag as a team? I will give you $1000 if they never wrestle again. Trust me. They will wrestle again."

As we noted before, After seeing Dudley Boyz getting beaten up by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson many were speculating that the whole segment was a hoax and it was widely believed that this was done to set up a feud between the two teams in future.

Although this was not the case and the whole roster including the McMahons was waiting backstage to give the legendary duo a proper farewell after that part of the show ended. The involvement of the club is said to be an effort to generate some heat for the former NJPW stars.

It's yet to be seen if the Dudleys decide to call their careers after their final appearance on Raw or they will continue wrestling as free agents
