What's the story?

Raw Superstar, Drew McIntyre, recently spoke with TalkSport during WWE's tour of UK and called out WWE EVP, Triple H.

McIntyre talked about the popularity of the NXT UK brand and proceeded to call out Triple H and state his desire to wrestle there.

In case you didn't know...

Drew McIntyre has come a long way from being a jobber to the stars several years ago. He was positioned as a top star upon his WWE debut a decade ago but was later thrown into the lower mid-card with Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater.

McIntyre left WWE and worked hard elsewhere, enough for WWE to notice him and sign him to an NXT contract. Now, McIntyre is one of the biggest heels on Monday Night Raw and wrestled Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35.

He has talked in depth in the past about his career resurgence and was recently seen giving scathing advice to Superstars who are unhappy with their positions in WWE. He also recently visited John Cena's gym and talked about wanting to face him once before he retires.

The heart of the matter

While speaking with TalkSport, McIntyre had a message for Triple H, the EVP of WWE. The Scottish Psychopath stated that he wants to go to NXT UK. He added that it's his desire to make an appearance on the brand, similar to what Finn Balor did at NXT TakeOver's first UK show.

Let me go to NXT UK... just for a day, for a few hours.

What's next?

McIntyre's desire to compete in NXT UK has opened up possibilities for a bunch of incredible bouts against the likes of Pete Dunne, Walter, and Tyler Bate. But first, he has set his sights on becoming the Money in the Bank winner at tonight's PPV.
