Hugh Hefner, the founder and editor-in-chief of the Playboy Magazine passed away on the 27th of September at the age of 91. Torrie Wilson, a former WWE wrestler, talked about Hefner's influence in her career, saying that he changed her life and called him a genius.

Torrie Wilson was on the cover of the Playboy magazine twice, once in 2003 and again in 2004. During the course of her WWE career, appearing in the magazine definitely gave her a boost in popularity and WWE made her appearance on the cover a selling point.
The heart of the matter
The former WWE star told TMZ Sports that she was extremely grateful for the effect that Hugh Hefner and the Playboy Magazine had on her career. She talked about the incredible opportunities that opened up to her because she appeared on the magazine cover.
"It definitely helped my popularity while I was with the WWE. It was a huge opportunity for me and brought me up to the next level."
She went on to talk about how the Playboy parties were the place to be, and that she was glad that she had those stories with her for the rest of her life.
When asked about her relationship with Hugh Hefner she admitted to not having a personal relationship with the man but called him extremely sweet for whenever she had met him.
"He was always a very gracious sweet guy. I can't say I had a close super close personal relationship with him, but I met him on numerous occasions and he was always he was always very sweet."
Talking about who Hugh Hefner was, she praised him, calling him a genius and pioneer in his own field.
"He was a genius and a pioneer and nobody can really take that away from him, he was really a pioneer."
She posted on Instagram about how being on the cover of the Playboy Magazine twice affected her life.

Hugh Hefner's ashes were placed in the Westwood Memorial Park, in the crypt next to Marilyn Monroe, which he had bought for his own use.
