What's the story?

WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent and part-time wrestler, Triple H, and his wife, WWE's Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon were present on a recent episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, alongside former WWE Tag Team Champions, the New Day. They were there to promote Raw's 25th Anniversary Show, which is set to take place on this coming Monday Night.

In a segment of the show, Jimmy, The New Day, Triple H and Stephanie took part in a hilarious lip-sync battle, where Triple H added some stakes. If Triple H and Stephanie won, Jimmy would have to come over to WWE Raw's 25th Anniversary show to be a part of the proceedings.

In case you didn't know...

Raw's 25th Anniversary will broadcast from two venues, the Manhattan Center and the Barclays Center, simultaneously. The night might be one of the biggest in Sports Entertainment history, with an impressive array of past Wrestling Legends and current WWE stars scheduled to be on the show.

The heart of the matter

Jimmy Fallon and The New Day were impressive in their funny rendition of lip-syncing 'Motown Philly'. After they completed their performance, Triple H and Stephanie took the stage. While Triple H revealed that he had chosen 'Seek and Destroy' by Metallica, Stephanie, to his surprise, had chosen 'How Far I'll Go' the theme from Moana.

The random song chooser chose the Moana theme song, and Triple H went off to the side to sulk. Stephanie started lip-syncing it and was impressive, but the real magic happened when she pulled her husband onto the stage with her. Triple H lip-synced the song with flamboyance in a manner no one had expected from him.

The performance was hilarious and showed a different fun-loving side to the former WWE Champion.

What's next?

Does this mean that Jimmy Fallon will be present on the 25th Anniversary show of Raw? We will just have to wait and see, as the show airs this Monday Night.

Author's take

Triple H has never been a person to back down from having fun, and often it was at his own expenses. During his time as a wrestler, he liked nothing more than to entertain the crowd. This was a side of Triple H that fans have not seen in a long time.
