What’s the story?

Following WWE’s live event earlier today in Brighton, 14 times World Champion Triple H took it to the social media in order to show his gratitude towards the WWE Universe in Brighton last night.

In case you didn’t know…

Former WWE World Champion Triple H recently made his return to the ring at a house show in Santiago, Chile. Following his return “The Game” would also announce that he would take part in WWE’s on-going live tour in the UK.

Earlier this week, Triple H kicked off the UK tour in style, when he teamed up with Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in Glasgow, Scotland and filled in for Roman Reigns—who is currently suffering from mumps. In doing so, Hunter became an honorary member of The Shield as the trio defeated Cesaro, Sheamus, and a returning Bray Wyatt inside the SSE Hydro.

The heart of the matter

After a successful show in Glasgow, Scotland, WWE headed to Brighton earlier today in a show which once again featured Triple H. “The Game” would team up with Rollins and Ambrose for the second night in a row and would continue to fill in for Roman Reigns, as a member of The Shield.

Much like the first night in Glasgow, Triple H, Rollins, and Ambrose defeated Cesaro, Sheamus, and Bray Wyatt and on top of that, it was "The Game" himself who got the pin for his team after the Shield hit a triple powerbomb on Cesaro.

Following a successful night in Brighton, Triple H took it to his official Twitter handle and thanked the Brighton crowd for being loud and added by saying that it was great returning to the city for a live WWE tour. Hunter ended his tweet by hyping WWE’s London show, which takes place later tonight.

What’s next?

As for Triple H, he will continue performing in WWE’s current UK tour, which hits London tonight, followed by Minehead and Cardiff. “The Game” will wrestle on every one of these shows in the UK and it seems like he will continue to team up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the upcoming shows.

However, despite Triple H returning to the ring at house shows fans are still not sure when they will get to see Triple H performing at a pay-per-view next.

Author’s Take

Personally, I have enjoyed Triple H teaming up with The Shield recently; even though he had a lengthy rivalry with the group in the past and on the other hand, it also goes on to show how much he cares about the WWE universe as he has decided to step in for Roman Reigns.
