WWE News: Triple H reacts to the Raw debut of several NXT call-ups
What’s the story?
Following the recent call-ups of several NXT graduates on Raw this past Monday night, Triple H took to social media in order to react and reflect on the debut brand new Monday Night Raw superstars.
In case you didn’t know…
This past Monday evening in New Orleans, NXT superstars No Way Jose, former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon, and former NXT Tag Team Champions Akam and Rezar— together billed as The Authors of Pain—made their debut on the WWE main roster, on the edition of Raw after WrestleMania 34.
On their first night on the main roster, The Authors of Pain defeated the team of Rhyno and Heath Slater in devastating fashion and kick-started their journey on the main roster in style. In addition, Ember Moon also competed in a tag team match on her Raw debut when she teamed up with new Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax in order to defeat the duo of Alexa Bliss and Mickie James.
Lastly, No Way Jose also brought the fiesta to the red brand of WWE when he defeated local talent John Skyler in less than one minute in order to gain his first win on the main roster.
The heart of the matter
Triple H recently showed his gratitude towards the NXT call-ups via his official Twitter handle as he stated that in one has to earn his way to the top in order to earn his/her spot on the main roster and no debut in the WWE is handed over to anyone.
Additionally, Triple H also noted that the opportunity has now been lined-up for one of the most dominant tag teams in the world (referring to The Authors of Pain) and The Game also claimed that Ember Moon will definitely be eclipsing the competition in the Women’s Division, whereas No Way Jose has the greatest fans in the world.
What’s next?
The journey on the main roster for The Authors of Pain, Ember Moon, and No Way Jose will definitely be full of ups and downs and as usual, it’ll certainly be interesting to note in which direction all these superstars head toward in the future.
Author’s take
Personally, I’d hope that The AOP, Ember Moon, and No Way Jose are booked in a strong and dominant manner and are used to their full potential on the main roster.
