WWE News: Triple H receives head wound after Roman Reigns attack
If today’s episode of RAW is taken as a yardstick, the undermanned WWE roster seems to have catalyzed Creative. The importance of the lead-up to WrestleMania 32 is not lost on those behind-the-scenes and the last three segments of RAW were meaty.
The audience were spoilt for choice between Triple H-Roman Reigns, Jericho-Styles and the Undertaker-Shane-Vince segments. Good as they were, their arrangement certainly piqued our curiosity.
The Triple H-Dolph Ziggler match was second from last, which was surprising enough in itself considering that The Game is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Roman Reigns’ reappearance explained its slotting, putting the to-be marquee attraction of the company behind what are now bigger draws.
That’s not to say that Reigns’ triumphant return was downplayed, with the Big Dog returning in kind what Triple H did to him a couple of weeks ago. Reigns went Dothraki on the World Heavyweight Champion, beginning perhaps a little unoriginally, bouncing Triple H's head off the announce table.
Reigns would then give Hunter his version a tour of the back area, busting him wide open somewhere en route. According to reports from dailywrestlingnews.com, Triple H had to receive six staples on his head to close the wound. Reigns tweeted this after the show:
