The heart of the matter:
Speaking about the Mae Young Classic, Triple H explained that it was indeed a daunting task to find competitors for the tournament, ensure that they’re up to the task as well as accord a meaningful role to each and every one of them given the fact that they’ve been roped in from different parts of the world.
Furthermore, he asserted that the initial plan was to conduct the tournament with 16 participants, but they were pleasantly surprised to find several worthy contenders, out of which they found it tough to choose whom they ought to select as the 32 competitors.
Besides, he stated that he’d never say never to a possible brand that exclusively features Women’s Wrestling, but would rather use them on the company’s main shows. He continued—
"We want the women to have the same opportunity as the men to be everywhere. You don't need a separate show, as long as opportunities are everywhere. It makes it feel like less than for them."
