WWE News: Triple H reveals who convinced him to wrestle at WrestleMania 35
What's the story?
One of the biggest matches at WWE WrestleMania this year will see the ''King of Kings' Triple H put his career on the line as he faces the returning Batista.
In case you didn't know...
Batista made his return to WWE on RAW in February. That episode of RAW was supposed to end with Ric Flair's birthday celebration but when Flair was supposed to come out, the camera cut to the back and we saw Batista charging into the Nature Boy's dressing room. Batista then dragged Ric Flair out before addressing Triple H.
Over the following weeks, Batista tried to goad Triple H into giving him what he wants and finally the match he wanted at WrestleMania.

The heart of the matter
Triple H will put his career on the line at WrestleMania when he faces Batista in a No Holds Barred match. 'The Game' spoke to ESPN ahead of WrestleMania and revealed that he wasn't supposed to wrestle at the Show of Shows this year. He then revealed how his match came to be and that it was Vince McMahon's decision:
"I went from a month ago thinking, 'Oh, this is great -- I'm going to have an easy year this year, I just go watch the Hall of Fame and then I get to work behind the scenes at [Wrestle]Mania. It will be easy. Then, Vince tells me I'm in the Hall of Fame ... and then next thing [I know], I'm working at WrestleMania. So I got busy quick."
'Vince came to me and told me, 'I need you to be in WrestleMania this year. And I was like, 'Really? Because I haven't been cleared to train yet even -- I don't know that I'm going to make that.'
What's next?
Triple H will face Batista at WrestleMania 35 this Sunday. Mania takes place from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
