WWE News: Triple H says WWE has big plans for Braun Strowman after WrestleMania 33
What’s the story?
On The Cheap Heat Podcast, Triple H told Peter Rosenberg that the WWE has “got a lot of stuff behind" Braun Strowman after WrestleMania 33.
In case you didn’t know...
Braun Strowman, who made his WWE debut in December 2014 as part of The Wyatt Family, had split off from his former faction due to the brand split. Since then, Strowman has been competing in singles matches on RAW and Pay Per Views.
He had a short feud with Roman Reigns, which culminated in a match at Fastlane 2017. Roman Reigns triumphed over Strowman at the PPV. Subsequently, The Undertaker's return on WWE Raw showed a frightened Strowman. He deserted the ring for the Deadman immediately instead of confronting him.
One week later, Reigns dominated Strowman in their Fastlane rematch, looking stronger for his match against the Phenom at WrestleMania 33 in the process.
The heart of the matter
According to Triple H’s words, it truly does seem that Strowman will be a major player moving forward. He was quoted as saying the following:
“Yeah, I’m not 100% sure [what] exactly [is] the plan. Look, I can’t imagine… this is the time of year that everybody is so busy.
I haven’t been… Vince has been laying out a lot of this and I haven’t been around for a lot of it because we’ve kind of been running in different directions, so to speak, with a lot of our projects and stuff, so I haven’t had that exact conversation with him.
I’m imagining, though, he has got a lot of stuff behind him. I can’t imagine we’re going to just let that fall off, and, surely, that there are big plans for him on the other side. I know that.”
What’s next?
It’s still unclear as to what direction the WWE have planned for Braun Strowman, going forward.

Strowman's undefeated streak was broken by Reigns at Fastlane 2017 and the fact hasn’t been mentioned on WWE TV since. It will be interesting to see what happens after WrestleMania 33, or even at WrestleMania itself, as far as Strowman is concerned.
Author’s Take
It's no secret that Strowman embodies what Vince McMahon looks for in a WWE Superstar. He has the look, the menacing mannerisms and appears to be the total package for a huge heel in the WWE.
One of the only things Strowman actually needs work on are his mic skills. The charisma is there and in the WWE's eyes, which are truly the only eyes that matter, he can work as a big player on television.
I’m a big fan of Strowman’s and it will be exciting to see his development post-WrestleMania 33.
