WWE News: Triple H inducted into Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame

The Game has been inducted into the BGCA Hall of Fame. 

 

What’s the story?

The WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative- Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque- has been inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Hall of Fame, this past May 10th in Dallas. 

The BGCA Hall of Fame honours distinguished people who got their starts at their local Boys & Girls clubs.

In case you didn’t know...

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the sport of professional wrestling and is respected not only for his in-ring accomplishments but also for his work as a backstage executive for the WWE.

Triple H has followed in the footsteps of his father-in-law and WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon, who was inducted into the BGCA Hall of Fame in 2015.  

The heart of the matter

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, the 47-year old Paul Levesque was an active member of the Nashua, NH club in his younger days. He went on to win multiple world titles in the sport of professional wrestling; he is also an influential executive in the company and one of the most recognised figures in the sport of professional wrestling.

Triple H entered the BGCA Hall of Fame alongside six other inductees namely WNBA star Skylar Diggins, MLBPA Executive Director Tony Clark, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, actor Anthony Anderson, Dr Dante Lauretta and Dr Philip Schein.

What’s next?

Triple H lost his most recent match to Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 33 and has now returned to his role as a backstage executive in the WWE.

As is customary of Triple H every year, fans can expect the Game to return to the ring in the latter half of this year, particularly as the WWE gets closer to the Royal Rumble in early 2018.

Author’s take

Triple H is a member of the Kliq and truly is one of the most powerful figures in sports-entertainment today. The man rose to the top with his wit and his skills and it’s great to see him being acknowledged by the BGCA.
