WWE News: Twitter Reacts to Shinsuke Nakamura winning the Royal Rumble
The "King of Strong" Style heard the Wells Fargo Center explode with joy when fans realized that Shinsuke Nakamura won the 2018 Royal Rumble Match.
If fans weren't excited enough, the announcement of Nakamura challenging AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34 gave fans a satisfaction they haven't experienced from the main roster in quite some time.
If you don't believe me, check out what wrestling fans had to say on Twitter about The King of Strong Style becoming the first Japanese WWE superstar to win the Royal Rumble.
Many fans were expecting Reigns to win the match, which made the moment that much better when Nakamura hit a Kinsasha and tossed the Big Dog over the top rope.
Of course, there were some fans who couldn't enjoy the moment for what it was.
And one response that was so out there, that it needed to be highlighted on its own to be properly analyzed - and yes, this tweet was sent shortly after Nakamura won.
Regardless of popular thoughts, the Internet's opinion was almost unanimously positive as Nakamura celebrated his victory and declared that he would challenge Styles for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34 - which would make their first singles match since their IWGP Intercontinental Championship match at Wrestle Kingdom 10.
There was a lack of excitement as WWE kicked off the Road to WrestleMania, but Nakamura winning the 2018 Royal Rumble was a great way to inject some energy into their fanbase and get the internet buzzing with a major match already in the works.
WrestleMania 34 looks like the place to be!
