WWE News: Two new members added to Titus Worldwide

Titus Worldwide keeps growing!
Titus Worldwide keeps growing!

What’s the story?

Titus O’Neil has taken to social media to announce the two newest members of his group ‘Titus Worldwide’.

Apparently, O’Neil has managed to convince popular rapper LL Cool J as well as the Los Angeles Rams’ mascot to join Titus Worldwide.

In case you didn’t know…

Titus O’Neil has been portraying the character of an over-the-top businessman/manager since last year; kayfabe recruiting a few WWE Superstars to his talent management agency Titus Worldwide (formerly known as Titus Brand).

From Apollo Crews to Akira Tozawa, Titus O’Neil has involved notable prospects in his group; acting as their manager on WWE TV programming.

The heart of the matter:

On that note, Titus O’Neil was recently as the LA Rams vs Indianapolis Colts football game, and posted a video alongside Hollywood personality and musician LL Cool J as well as the Rams’ mascot; asserting that the latter duo are now the two newest members of Titus Worldwide.

This in turn has got the professional wrestling community buzzing about the possibility of the WWE potentially using LL Cool J in a segment with O’Neil on Monday Night RAW, in the days to come.

What’s next?

WWE and LL Cool J are yet to confirm a possible celebrity appearance from the latter on RAW.

Nevertheless, one ought to note that the WWE has indeed roped in several celebs in the past; with said recruitment usually preceded by social media hints, much like O’Neil’s aforementioned posts.

Author’s take:

In my opinion, the WWE should use every possible option they can get their hands on right now.

I mean let’s face it, most storylines on RAW have kind of hit a plateau in the pos-Wrestlemania season, and with both RAW and SmackDown struggling for ratings, sporadic celebrity appearances can perhaps help attract more eyeballs towards the WWE product.
