WWE News: Two Superstars added to the Elimination Chamber Match for New Women's Tag Team Titles

What's the story?

On SmackDown Live a new tag-team were added to the Elimination Chamber match which will see six teams of women compete for the chance to become the new WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. Luckily for this team they just get to announce they're in unlike the women of Raw.

In case you didn't know...

Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan and Nia Jax & Tamina were the first two women's tag-teams to qualify for the six-team Elimination Chamber match after winning qualifying matches on Monday Night Raw.

Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan defeated the odd pairing of Natalya and Dana Brooke which is interesting in itself because it means that Ruby Riott isn't involved.

Nia Jax & Tamina triumphed over the recently returning Alexa Bliss and Mickie James in the other qualifying match.

The heart of the matter

Meanwhile, over on SmackDown teams are being entered just be simply announcing to a backstage interviewer that they're in the match. That's exactly how we got our next team, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in the match

The former 'Absolution' stablemates were the only team from SmackDown Live to put their name in the hat on this week's SmackDown Live, meaning that we still have two more teams from the blue brand to be revealed for the Elimination Chamber on pay-per-view.

What's next?

I fully expect Bayley and Sasha Banks to claim the last spot from the Raw side of the Elimination Chamber match, and on the SmackDown side I've got my money on Peyton Royce and Billie Kay and... Naomi and someone? Carmella and someone? Nikki Cross perhaps? There aren't enough teams!

Either way, the six-way Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles is sure to be very, very good!
