What’s the story?

WWE Smackdown Live superstar Tyler Breeze recently spoke with TheWhig.com in order to promote WWE’s annual flagship event, that is, WrestleMania 34, which is now less than a month away. Also, during the interview, Breeze spoke about his current partnership with Fandango and the possibility of yet another singles run in the WWE.

In case you didn’t know…

Tyler Breeze and Fandango initially formed their alliance back in 2016 on an episode of Monday Night Raw. However, shortly afterwards the duo was drafted over to Smackdown Live, where they have previously challenged for the SD Live Tag Team Titles, but, eventually failed to capture the straps as they were beaten by The Usos.

In the next few months on Smackdown Live, Breezango would go on to take part in vignettes, which were dubbed as the "Fashion Files", in which Breezango acted as detectives and attempted to solve mysteries. The Fashion Files immediately clicked off with the WWE Universe and became hugely popular among the fans.

The heart of the matter

In his interview with TheWhig.com, Tyler Breeze opened up about his relationship with his tag team partner Fandango and claimed that the two men initially struggled to find their chemistry during the initial stages, however, according to Breeze, him and Fandango would eventually start to find their rhythm and things would apparently quickly start to fall into place.

Breeze, added that teaming up with Fandango has been really helpful so far, as the two men have been able to help each other out on numerous occasions and have built a special relationship together as a tag team.

"We were both trying to figure out what our chemistry was, and all of the sudden we just started throwing ideas out there and one of them was to be the Fashion Police. We filmed little videos and then all of a sudden it kind of just took off. We just have a lot of fun with it and other people have joined in and they would have fun with it. All of a sudden it became a thing that was every week on Smackdown for about eight months. It definitely played a big part in kind of getting some momentum behind us."

Additionally, Breeze noted, that Breezango is definitely not breaking up anytime soon as he believes that he and Fandango still have some unfinished business on the blue brand as a duo and still have some loose ends with current Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Usos.

“Until we get those Smackdown tag team titles, we don't really have a need to go on our own. We're having fun together. Until that happens, I don't see us splitting up anytime soon."

What’s next?

Breezango is currently without a proper storyline on Smackdown Live and is somewhat lost in the shuffle on the blue brand, however, we can certainly hope that Tyler Breeze and Fandango once again rise through the ranks on Smackdown and eventually capture the tag team titles.

Author’s Take

The Breezango partnership has definitely turned around both Tyler Breeze and Fandango’s WWE careers and I do hope that at some point down the road, WWE eventually decides to capitalize on these two men and award them with the Tag Team Titles.
