WWE News: Tyler Breeze responds to criticism regarding Fashion Files
What’s the story?
Tyler Breeze and Fandango have spent most of their time on the SmackDown roster performing the Fashion Files segment since the Superstar Shakeup, and one fan questioned the team regarding their absence from the ring.
Tyler Breeze responded on Twitter and said that more people cared now than they had prior to their much-loved spoof segments.
In case you didn’t know...
Breeze and Fandango formed the team Breezango back in 2016 during a storyline involving R-Truth and Goldust forming their team. Breezango was traded to SmackDown during the draft and remained an afterthought on the brand in 2016 and 2017.
SmackDown lost some of their high profile teams during the Superstar Shakeup, which led to Breezango having their routine segment, The Fashion Files.
The heart of the matter
Twitter user Susan Thayer tagged Breeze and Fandango in her message and questioned the reason behind Breezango spending all their TV time doing the Fashion Files instead of wrestling.
Breeze responded to Thayer by pointing out things from his perspective about how no one cared about the team prior to the Fashion Files segments and how now they’re considered a highlight of Tuesday night programming.
He then sent out a message questioning his absence from SmackDown Live this week and inquired as to why the Fashion Files segment didn’t air on this week’s episode.
What’s next?
Next week’s SmackDown will hail from Las Vegas, Nevada, and will feature two championship matches as well as the return of Vince McMahon.
The WWE may have held off on the release of the latest Fashion Files segment in order to save it for the SmackDown that will air on Sep. 12, 2017.
Author’s take
Many fans have had harsh criticism about the WWE’s booking decisions on SmackDown, but the Fashion Files segment is one aspect that fans seem to love.
