Is Wyatt on the way back?
Is Wyatt on the way back?

What's the story?

It's been quite a while since we've seen Bray Wyatt on WWE television, with a reported car crash shelving The Eater of Worlds for most of 2018.

However, it looks like the former WWE Champion is closing in on a return to the ring very soon, according to PWInsider.com.

In case you didn't know...

Bray Wyatt has been teasing his in-ring return for quite a while on social media, deleting all of his posts on Twitter and changed his profile photo several times. In December, Wyatt returned to Twitter with a post that he is now "different" and said goodbye.

Last month, he teased a return in now-deleted tweets, too, which included replying to a fan shortly thereafter saying his return is near.

Most recently, at the end of January, Wyatt sent this message to WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.

The heart of the matter

Bray Wyatt is said to now be very close to a return to the ring, with the former WWE Champion hoping to be medically cleared by WWE very soon, according to PWInsider.com in a report today.

Bray Wyatt was used sparingly in the second half of 2018 after a successful rivalry and tag team run with Matt Hardy due to injuries sustained in a car crash.

What's next?

Well, who knows? As always, the enigma of Bray Wyatt leaves us all with more questions than answers. Will we see Wyatt return on RAW, or align with Rowan and Bryan on SmackDown? Will we see him at all before WrestleMania? Only time will tell.

Stay tuned, we'll keep you updated as and when we have more on the return of the mysterious Eater of Worlds.
